FACING ADDICTION AS A FAMILY - WEEKEND WORKSHOP
Addiction is called a family disease for good reason. By the time most families reach out for help, the disease has progressed to a crisis level. Families often feel traumatized and overwhelmed. There are arguments and confrontations, slamming doors, and sleepless nights.
Addiction affects more than the individual. Our educational and support programs help families learn more about the disease of addiction and how it affects them.
Together with the support from Dawn King Behavioural Health Solutions, our family program is a weekend filled with education about addiction, treatment options, codependency, as well as tools for healthy boundary setting, anxiety, communication, self-care, interpersonal relationships, and recovery planning for individuals who have loved ones with substance use disorders.
Next Workshop dates: March 12, 13 & 14, 2021
