These disorders affect how we feel and behave. Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling, while severe anxiety can be extremely debilitating, having a serious impact on daily life. It can be caused by recent life stress, challenging or traumatic situations, changes in routine, or specific phobias. 

In small doses, stress helps you to stay focused, energetic, and alert. But when stress becomes overwhelming, it can damage your health, your mood, your productivity, your relationships, and your quality of life.

Counselling can help you with realistic ways to deal with the tension, focusing on what is calming and in control, and help develop a plan to better handle situations as they arise.
